Three years ago, I remember sitting outside in my rocking chair talking with Steve. I was sharing with him how I had this idea of creating a Hope Box. I told him that Arthur ended his life here because he didn't have any hope, but Jesus came to give us hope. I wanted to create a box that was full of Hope.

It's not that Steve was trying to discourage me, but he didn't think this idea was as genius as I did. Yet, I started putting it together, and within a couple of weeks, it was launched! I remember the first box came with a new tumbler, some cute soap, and sticky notes, along with other things.

I remember I sold 30 boxes. I was so excited!

Over time, the box changed. As I grew with the Lord and He grew me as his vessel, I realized that "things" wouldn't ever bring people hope. Material things don't bring us hope but temporary happiness. If I wanted to send a message of everlasting Hope, it would have to point to Jesus. It would have been the hope that only He can give.

Hope that lives within our Bibles, the living Word of God. If we only picked it up and studied it, So i started changing the Box to bible study tools to encourge bible journaling. This lasted for a while, but again, I felt like people were receiving "things." I love bible journaling tools, but I don't need them all the time, and neither do people. What they need is help understanding the Word of God.

Some people don't pick up thier Bibles because every time they do, it feels as if they can't understand what they are reading. It's a scheme of the enemy that keeps people from the eternal promise of hope! So, Again, I changed the box.

I started writing a study binder every single month that featured a certain topic. I've written about:

You can actually access most of them in digital formate here by clicking here.

Recently, we took a break from the study binders due to having so much travel and transition! But I am so excited to announce that we are launching back our study binders in a completely new way with the introduction of the 'Monthly Book Club'!

Each month, I will continue to write and help those who desire to dig deeper into the Word of God with a devtional, study type book! Each month will have a theme and focus on helping the reader dig deeper into scripture to find the eternal hope we have in Jesus!

If you ask me, this is such a step forward from binders and folders to actual books that fit perfectly on your book shelf! November's theme will be "Do you know the God of whom you serve?" It will take you through the Old Testament books in the Bible and help you understand what (and who) you can find in each book!

You can get access to the Monthly Book Club by Clicking Here!

Can you believe it, friends? How we started with 30 hope boxes in the basement of my home to transiting into a shop that produces actual books every single month. That's the God of whom I serve. The God who makes ways that I can't even see! A dyslexic writer that teaches the Bible? What a transformation!

Without Him, I would be nothing.

Therefore, I give the Lord all the praise and glory!
